5 of 5 Son Of A..... I can't Believe it! October 20, 2013
Reviewer: Gordon G.
This is the BEST engineered and handy portable grill EVER!  Talk about a Blast from the Past!!  My wife got me one of these with Green Stamps (yeah - remember them?!)  back in 1978.  We're still using it over 35 years later!  I just used it this summer on a boating outing.  I could go on and on about the features.  The charcoal lights very fast with the chimney effect with the clamshell closed.  The gratings have adjustable height, with heat-proof handle that doubles as the top closer.  When done grilling, just close the clamshells and as it burns out, the ash all falls into a removable tray.  Never have to touch it.  When closed up, it's very compact, when open you've gut a surprising amount of grill space with the 2 grills.  Sorry for gushing, but I had no idea they were still around and just bought a new one to go along with our new RV.  Maybe I'll pass the old one on to the next generation.  It still works great!  A very durable and incredibly well-engineered grill.  All cast iron, will never burn or corrode through.  I haven't gotten the new one yet, but the pics look identical.   I was thinking of getting a gas unit for our motorhome, but this is the perfect solution for us!

5 of 5 Works as advertised September 13, 2013

You'll still need a grill brush to clean the grates of ash between uses.  Works well, I really liked the snuff out pouch and the price is excellent.

5 of 5 Awesome little grill September 4, 2013
Reviewer: Mark P.
The grill works great, just seems wrong to be putting a hot grill in a cloth bag, but it works very well. Only downside is not having a cover to use while cooking.
